Our client are a leading wealth manager based in the City. They are currently seeking a Research Administration Assistant to join their dynamic team reporting in to provide administrative support for the Research Department.

What you'll do:

  • Take minutes at various meetings as required
  • Proof read and check documents
  • Create documents professionally and in an appropriate format
  • Maintain administration documents and update information regularly
  • Arrange meetings, appointments and team travel arrangements
  • Proatively look for efficiencies and potential process improvements
  • Keep the internal intranet up to date
  • Liaise with marketing to ensure they have the relevant information/documents produced by the research department
  • Provide cover for the Research Department as and when required

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Abiltiy to develop and maintain excellent internal and external relationships
  • Literate and numerate
  • Very well-organised
  • Abilty to multi-task and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Strong technical literacy - Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills with willingness to learn other systems

Advantageous

  • Keen interest in City Markets and Private Client Fund Management
  • Up to 2 year's relevant financial services experience in client administration
  • An understanding of the UK Regulatory framework
  • GCSE (or equivalent) English (grade C or above)
